Meet Laura Ramos
Laura Ramos is a lifelong resident of Nueces County, a proud graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School (2004), and a devoted wife and mother. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in 2007 and received her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2011.
Since 2012, Laura has built a career dedicated to justice and service. She has served as a member of the U.S. District Court’s Criminal Justice Act Panel, representing indigent defendants in federal cases, and she completed the prestigious Texas Criminal Trial College in Huntsville in 2012. With over a decade of courtroom experience, Laura has handled the very types of cases that matter most in County Court at Law No. 3 — DWIs, domestic violence, assaults, drug cases, and mental health matters.
Laura is running for Judge of Nueces County Court at Law No. 3 because she believes our community deserves a judge who is tough on crime, fair to all who enter the courtroom, and committed to conservative values. She will uphold the rule and law of the U.S. Constitution and will never legislate from the bench.

Fair: With over 13 years of courtroom experience, Laura has earned a reputation for treating every person with respect—whether victim, defendant, or family. She applies the law consistently, ensuring each case is decided on its merits.
Conservative: Laura is committed to upholding the Constitution, protecting taxpayer dollars, and keeping the court efficient and accountable. Her values reflect the priorities of Nueces County families.
